Intended learning outcomes

Once the student has passed this course unit, he (she) will be able to:

  1. Understand the latest experimental approaches and bioinformatics tools in this area.
  2. Use these tools in the study of biology at genome level from the integrative point of view.
  3. Discuss the development and use of computational resources for the analysis of genomic data.
  4. Compare and analyze genome sequences using bioinformatic techniques.
  5. Describe the importance of functional genomics in the field of Medicine, Biology and Biotechnology.
  6. Critically analyze the scientific literature on genomics, bioinformatics and other omics.
